Embedded Software Engineer

Embedded C Development/Software Engineer, you will be working as part of the Innovation team Key Responsibilities will include: Development of Embedded Industrial communication interface modules; concentrating on software development, test, and certification Help define hardware and firmware architecture Maintain products through various stages of their lifecycle Develop a strong understanding of the systems we use and learn new technologies to help advance our applications Essential Requirements: A degree in relevant Software or Electronics discipline Strong Embedded C Programming skills (MISRA, Secure coding practices etc) Experience with V-Cycle and Agile Development methodologies Experience with version control software Good communication and teamworking skills Advantage to have: Familiarity with C# programming for development of support and test tools Familiarity with Serial communication protocols (Modbus RTU), USB and Bluetooth Familiarity with Industrial Communication Protocols (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT etc) Familiarity with PLC programming (CoDeSys, Rockwell, Siemens) Invertek is committed to working with the best people possible and
