Process Safety Engineer

Process Safety Engineer - 45,000 - 60,000 Plus Bonus - Wolverhampton based 3 times per week, with travel occasionally to Saudi Arabia (all expenses paid). Multi site position.

We are working with a leading global manufacturer of a wide range of chemicals, mainly manufacturing performance additives. This business have 20 sites globally, with 1,000 employees. This client are looking to grow the team with a Process Safety Engineer - someone who is driven, ambitious, and someone who is keen to progress and develop their career. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to have a huge impact on a global business.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses and Layer of Protection Analyses (LOPAs).
• Provide process safety expertise and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Driving safety improvements across two sites - the UK and Saudi Arabia.
• Address gaps in process safety information and documentation.
• Deliver process safety training and risk management support for all facilities within the business.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• A strong set of Process Safety Engineering skills.
• Experience working on a COMAH site.
• Flexibility for travel to Saudi Arabia.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Experience of PHA and LOPA facilitation experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams.
