Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to work with our public sector client

6 months contract

Excellent day rate outside IR35

Location: 3 days a week on site & two remote in Cambridgeshire

The ideal candidates will have a proven Senior Infrastructure Engineer background within public sector experience ideally holding active SC clearance.

Essential Skills:

• Dell Avamar and Data Domain backup solutions, running on Dell IDPA's
• Experience of VMware suite, preferably VMware Cloud Foundation on Dell VxRails
• Microsoft Active Directory, Tier Model, Least Privilege Access, PAM, GPOs, DNS
• Understanding the principles of Zero Trust Architecture.
• Experience with creating technical designs, documentation, and policies
• Experience of delivery within a technical axis utilising both Agile and stage-gated Waterfall project delivery assurance methodologies.

Desirable

• VMware NSX-T
• Horizon, AppVolumes
• VMware vRealize Suite, Automation, Operations, Log Insight and Lifecycle Management
• Programming/Scripting Infrastructure as Code and Testing
• Experience of full stack Atlassian suite
• Knowledge of IT Service Management tools i.e. PRTG, SolarWinds, JIRA, ServiceNow, LogRhythm
