Business Systems Developer

Frontline Recruitment Weymouth is looking for a talented Business Systems Developer to join a dynamic team in Weymouth.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Developing and maintaining the Management Operating System (MOS) to address chronic system, process, or technical issues, offering effective and lasting solutions.
• Enhancing business processes with both immediate tactical solutions and sustainable systematic improvements to prevent recurring issues.
• Tackling complex challenges across multiple business processes by integrating technical solutions effectively.
• Building strong relationships across business functions through a proactive approach and deep understanding of the business, while supporting the design and implementation of innovative solutions.
• Addressing technical problems by identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and driving solutions across the organization.
• Managing and supporting all automated data system updates, ensuring seamless remote maintenance when necessary.
• Creating software solutions that foster self-service capabilities, enabling teams to independently access and analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills and Experience:

• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and database systems such as Oracle and SQL.
• Experience extracting and analyzing data from MRP and legacy reporting systems, using Excel to identify trends, support business needs, and lead cross-functional projects that contribute to key company metrics.
• Practical programming and software development experience, with proficiency in C# and WPF preferred.
• A relevant technical qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
