Scrum Master

SC cleared Scrum Master with Data Platform project experience (Quantexa and / or Databricks) - Remote with occasional trips to Newcastle - (Apply online only) per day outside IR35 - 3 months rolling

Are you a Scrum Master holding an active SC clearance who has worked for central government and has prior data platform project experience, if so apply now for a rapid turnaound - aiming for a 23/1/2025 start date.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies:

   • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
   • Ensure that meetings are time-boxed, focused, and productive.

2. Support the Scrum Team:

   • Remove impediments that may hinder the team's progress.
   • Encourage collaboration, self-organization, and accountability within the team.
   • Promote a culture of continuous improvement.

3. Ensure Adherence to Scrum Practices:

   • Guide the team in understanding and adhering to Scrum principles and values.
   • Assist in the development and maintenance of the product backlog with the Product Owner.
   • Coach the team on Agile best practices, Scrum roles, and responsibilities.

4. Monitor and Report Progress:

   • Track and communicate the team's progress, ensuring alignment with goals and deadlines.
   • Help the team stay focused on the sprint goals and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
   • Measure and report team velocity and other key performance indicators (KPIs).

5. Stakeholder Management:

   • Act as a liaison between the development team and other stakeholders.
   • Communicate with management and external teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
   • Ensure that stakeholder needs are addressed in an efficient and collaborative manner.
