They are looking for a talented Application Support Specialist with strong PHP experience to join their dedicated team and play a pivotal role in ensuring user satisfaction and system efficiency.

The Role:
As an Application Support Specialist, you will act as the primary point of contact for user support, troubleshooting issues, and providing resolutions for the platform. Your expertise in PHP will enable you to assist with technical challenges, ensuring seamless functionality and an excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first and second-line application support to users, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with development teams to address and resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Utilise your strong PHP skills to debug, identify, and fix application-related problems.
  • Maintain documentation for support processes, resolutions, and FAQs.
  • Monitor system performance, identifying trends and suggesting improvements.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring users feel supported and valued.
What We re Looking For:
  • Experience: Ideally strong experience in an application support , PHP development or similar role, with strong knowledge of PHP.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with MySQL, web servers, and related technologies is advantageous.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and liaise with different departments.
  • Location: Based near Milton Keynes or within commuting distance for a hybrid working model.
