• Day Rate: £600 per day
• IR35 Status: Outside IR35

About the Role (Important):

My client, a world renowned, globally operating organisation, are seeking an highly qualified SQL DBA to join their team on a long term basis.

This is a high paced, major environment and candidates MUST have extensive background experience acting as SQL DBA in similar organisations (ideally household name Financial/Banking/Trading).

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and sustainment of the SQL Server Warehouse, ensuring its operational readiness (security, health, and performance), executing data loads, and performing data modelling in support of multiple development teams. The data warehouse supports an enterprise application suite of program management tools. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively

Candidate Requirement:

ESSENTIAL:

• Extensive professional background in extremely high paced, globally operating SQL environments, ideally Financial/Banking/Trading organisations
• Expert knowledge of SQL Server database administration, including database design, installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions
• Recent experience on Always-On and Replication (desirable for the client)
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques
• Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery solutions, such as database mirroring, log shipping, and clustering
