Office Administrator required for local, friendly, not-for profit-broadband provider based in Albury, Surrey.

Broadband for Surrey Hills Ltd (B4SH) is dedicated to resolving the broadband challenges faced by rural properties in the Surrey Hills. We are rolling out a hyperfast, independent, and highly reliable fibre network that delivers 1 gig broadband (upload and download) directly to homes and businesses.

Role Purpose

Critical role in the organisation that facilitates and supports B4SH and its operational team by maintaining office systems and business administration.

The role is the first point of contact for the customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

• Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external communications, including answering phone calls, including fault calls, responding to emails, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
• Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to ensure efficient office operations, including booking vehicle and equipment maintenance and updating insurance policies.
• File Management: Maintain both physical and digital filing systems to ensure accurate record-keeping and easy retrieval of documents.
• Office Management: Assist with the ordering of supplies and equipment.
• Event Planning: Assist with the planning of company events, from small meetings, Board Meetings and AGM.
• Data Management: Input, update, and maintain data in company databases and spreadsheets.
• Confidentiality: Handle information with discretion, ensuring compliance with company privacy policies and regulations.

Skills required:

• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good organisation
• Knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of MS 365
• Reliable and punctual

Working Hours 20 per week total working in the office which is based in Albury, GU5 9AF. This is a job share.

Working pattern: Tuesday to Friday exact days negotiable. Two days 9-5 with 30 minute break. One day 5 hours.
