Are you a UI Developer looking to take the next step in your career?

Would you like to join a close-knit development team as they embark on a multiyear modernisation programme of a key critical platform?

I am working in partnership with a client to find them a UI Developer to join their team and help shape the user interface for multiyear modernisation programme. If you have 12+ month commercial experience and have experience working with Angular, TypeScript, and responsive app design, this is a great opportunity to take the next step in your career. You ll be involved in the design, development, and delivery of key features, working closely with a collaborative team to build something impactful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate estimates for development tasks and deliver them on time, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Work alongside the team to design and develop new features for the application.
  • Build a modern, responsive, and user-friendly interface according to project specifications.
  • Test and deliver clean, quality code that meets all functional requirements.
  • Create clear and thorough technical documentation to explain complex processes to colleagues.
  • Regularly update task progress and completion status to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Contribute to team discussions and help achieve both individual and team objectives.
  • Take on any other tasks as required by the team to ensure project success.

Role Requirements:

  • 12 months or more of commercial experience in Angular and TypeScript development.
  • Experience designing and building responsive web applications.
  • Understanding of UI/UX design principles and how to implement them effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working in an agile, fast-paced environment.

For this role, you will need to be based in Scotland. They are based in Aberdeen and would love to have you in the office on a weekly basis, but for applicants further afield, a trip to Aberdeen every other month is what will be expected.
