Head of Finance Systems - London

My client in London is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Finance systems to lead the Finance system team, ensuring effective operation and management of the Firm's finance system and fit within the wider systems infrastructure. This role will encompass the management of large transformation and change projects on a global basis.
Working within a professional services environment, the Head of Finance will be heavily involved in strategic leadership, operational management, project management and stakeholder interaction on a global basis. Working in a growing team, you will ensure the production of timely and accurate financial/management information, reporting solutions and operational support.

As Head of Finance Systems, you will:

• Provide leadership and strategic direction to the finance systems team and the wider finance leadership team.
• Ensure alignment between finance systems and broader business objectives.
• Drive forward continuous improvement including the use of new technologies including AI and RPA
• Oversee the maintenance, configuration and enhancement of global finance systems including the move from on premise to a cloud based architecture.
• Manage, mentor and develop the Finance Systems team.
• Oversee the delivery of key finance systems projects including upgrades, migrations and new implementations, ensuring that projects are delivered in tie and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee vendor relationships.

• Experience of managing global finance systems - ideally Elite 3e
• Experience of migrating finance systems from on premise to the cloud
• Experience of evaluating cloud based products.
• Strong project management skills including systems upgrades and implementation.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• An understanding of legal finances advantageous.
