Technology Engineer - OSB

Job Title: Technology Engineer
Salary: circa 75k
Contract Type: Permanent, hybrid working
Start Date: January 2025

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Technology Engineer to join Oversight Board's dynamic and fast-paced Technology Team. As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day support for technology services and ensuring a human-centric approach to user support. What you'll be doing:
Responding to user requests for help and support
Setting up and installing new computers, networks, and software
Onboarding and offboarding of team members
Diagnosing and fixing network and hardware/software issues
Maintaining inventories of hardware and software
Providing user training and developing support guides
Working on continuous development and improvement initiatives
Collaborating with other areas of the Technology Team on strategic projects

What we're looking for:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Experience with system administration and Windows 10/MacOS
Familiarity with Google Gsuite, Microsoft Office 365, and Slack
Knowledge of cloud platforms and SaaS
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and experience of Agile working
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Passion for continuous improvement and creative thinking
Familiarity with IT security and device management

Desirable skills:
Networking experience (VPN, Web Proxy, LAN, WIFI)
Familiarity with Zoom and Salesforce
Interest in web design and DevOps
