We are looking for a Cyber Information Assurance Manager for a 12 Month contract based in Derby behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs. Purpose of the Role: In this role you will be providing Information Assurance through the application of policy, standards, and best practice to support the IT product teams on a key account that focuses on developing and defining Information Security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedure to an agreed framework (ISO27000, NIST 800-171, UK Cyber Essentials). As a Cyber Information Assurance Manager you will be responsible for: - Developing and defining Information Security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures in alignment with frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST 800-171, and UK Cyber Essentials. Supporting the creation and maintenance of global security policies.
- Acting as the IT Security representative on large projects, offering advice on implementing cyber security policies and standards related to network communications and security appliances. Supporting broader cyber security initiatives and projects as needed.
- Evaluating compliance with information security policies and standards. Assessing configurations and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Providing expert advice on the application and operation of various security controls, including compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Identifying, reporting, and managing IT security risks and concessions. Providing guidance on risk management and reduction.
- Working with other Information Assurance specialists to develop and document a unified approach to cyber security issues. Reporting to the Head of Cyber Security Policy and Compliance.
What we require from the candidate: - Experience working with enterprise class Firewalls, networks, and network security systems.
- Experience with Linux OS and MS Windows OS.
- Experience working with cloud integration's and cloud basic infrastructure CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, or related information security certifications.
- Experience in Industry 4.0 and Manufacturing 4.0 environments would be advantageous.
