JOB PURPOSE

• Test Engineers are responsible for the assuring the quality of our software products, helping us achieve our ambition to deliver highly scalable, exceptional software to our clients across the globe
• The role will perform a mixture of manual and automated test activities encompassing the full lifecycle of software development in an Agile, scrum-based development environment
• The Test Engineer will be passionate about delivering exceptional, user-friendly software, and have a drive to innovate and continuously improve testing methodologies, including automation
• Work closely with colleagues and business SMEs to understand scope, intent, and craft and deliver suitable test plans

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountability/Key Responsibilities

• Creating test plans and scripts in Azure DevOps.
• Delivering tests (manual and automated).
• Active engagement in scrum processes to continuously improve team throughput.
• Collaborating with Software Engineers to demonstrate, confirm and resolve issues as needed.

PERSON SPECIFICATION
Skills

• Good understanding of .Net and SQL.
• Experience with Automated testing tools.
• Possess suitable testing qualifications.
• Analytical and logical thinker
• Experience within the Utilities/Electricity industry (Desirable)
