THE COMPANY
Westray Recruitment Consultants are currently working with a national company who specialise in managing office infrastructure from printers and scanners to IT and communications. A North East business with service hubs across the UK, they have headquarters in the heart of Tyne & Wear and support clients all over the country.
The company has an exciting opportunity for a photocopier engineer. You will be responsible for the service and maintenance of high end quality photocopiers.
THE ROLE
  • Installing, maintaining and servicing digital photocopiers
  • Fault finding to board level
  • Refurbishment and setup of new devices
  • Managing car stock levels of general day to day wear and tear equipment
  • Networking of devices (setting up print and scan)
  • Visiting customer sites primarily in North East of England although some UK travel required
  • Contribute to quality and standards of information security management systems and processes
THE PERSON
  • Must have experience of a similar role within office equipment/photocopier industry
  • Due to working in schools and government buildings a full background, police and enhanced DBS Check will be carried out for the successful applicant
  • Current Full UK Drivers Licence (maximum 6 points)
  • Mostly local work but must be flexible to work national with overnight stays
  • Experience repairing electrical faults on office peripherals/photocopiers/MFD s
  • Excellent communication skills with people either on the telephone or face to face
  • Strong IT knowledge including MS Office, networking or software solutions, install drivers and updates (e.g. Papercut/Equitrac/ P Counter/ Docuware etc )
  • It is advantageous if you have experience of printer manufacturers such as Kyocera/ Konica Minolta/ Lexmark/ Epson
  • Proven record in achieving excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Strong team player who is receptive to training as 100% support will be provided
