Service Desk Team Leader - Gloucestershire

An exciting opportunity for either an experienced Service Desk Team Leader or potentially for someone wishing to step-up into such a role. The successful candidate will be managing a small team of 2nd Line Support Engineers who are providing exceptional desktop support across a variety of business and IT systems.

This is a technical role which will need to be combined with first-class customer service and team leading skills. There will be regular client interaction and the role will include occasional travel to client sites.

In order to be considered for this Service Desk Team Leader role most of the following skills and experiences are required:

  • Windows Desktop including versions 10 and 11
  • Networking - LAN, WAN, firewalls
  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Office 365 and Azure AD
  • Wireless Networks
  • ITIL
  • Mobile computing
  • CISCO Meraki cloud managed networks
  • Cloud Antivirus
  • Confident dealing with customers and strong communication skills
  • Ideally some previous experience of leading, mentoring and coaching a team of Engineers
  • Experience of conducting one to ones and annual reviews
  • Experience of supporting a team to meet KPI's for internal and external requirements

This is a hybrid role with two days a week required in the office based in Gloucestershire close to the M5.
