The Role: Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for experienced Data Analyst to join a UK market-leading business within the E-Commerce retail space. As an Senior Analyst you lead projects utilising ecommerce marketing and customer data to identify efficiency and growth opportunities within the businesses of our Partners, directly impacting their commercial decisions and enhancing the shopping experience for hundreds of thousands of end customers around the world.

Day to Day:-

  • Leading investigations in understanding trends and patterns in our partners customer performance and then presenting the findings back to partners
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends and opportunities that drive growth for our Partners, including leveraging e-commerce features and identifying areas for improvement by enhancing customer acquisition, average order frequency (AOF), and average order value (AOV) and reduce customer churn
  • Collaborate with partners to ensure effective utilisation of customer data for marketing and e-commerce reporting including LTV metrics and cohort reporting
  • Ability to quantify incremental uplift of our partners marketing campaigns and present back findings
  • Partner with Solutions and Technology to identify and close gaps in data feeds and ecommerce data layer.
  • Assisting our Partners' worldwide ecommerce operations. This entails providing valuable insights and recommendations, developing informative visualisation dashboards using LookerML, conducting ad-hoc analysis, and conducting business reviews
  • Problem Solving, with our department and business growing rapidly, and with even bigger growth plans ahead, new challenges and insights will develop for you to tackle
  • Creating data to represent our clients objectives and interests to other functions (e.g. Product Continuous Improvement)
  • Project Management and Support. Whether it is your own idea or a project managed by another department, you will be involved in supporting different projects across the business

Essential Skillset needed:-

  • E-commerce experience (2+ years)
  • Co-Hort Marketing Experience
  • Product Analytics
  • Extensive experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, VBA/AppScript, Data Studio/Tableau/Looker)
  • Strong communication with technical and non-technical senior management and key stakeholders
  • Accomplished analyst with experience analysing and manipulating large data sets, ideally with 4 or more years analytical experience
  • Python and Google Colab experience would be beneficial to the role but not essential
