We are seeking for a highly experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of applications and services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS and Azure, with expertise in automation, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.

This role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, team management experience, and a deep understanding of cloud security and scalability best practices.

Please note this is a Permanent Hybrid role and will involve up to 3 days per on site in Manchester

Key Skills and Experience

  • Experience in one or more Cloud technologies - AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment any of the following: Jenkins, TeamCity, TFS, Travis CI, Automic, Octopus Deploy, UrbanCode etc
  • Infrastructure as code experience using any of the following Terraform, Vault, Consul or CloudFormation
  • Comfortable working with multiple clients simultaneously, balancing priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge the gap between technical teams and business leaders.

Education And Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate.
  • MS Azure Solution Architect - AZ-305

Role Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize cloud solutions on AWS, Azure.
  • Plan and migrate Windows/Linux workloads across public and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Configure secure, scalable, and highly available cloud services using best practices.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Terraform, TeamCity, Circle CI Octopus
  • Deploy, Git and Github Actions and Azure DevOps.
  • Automate resource provisioning, patching, and deployments to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Implement and manage container platforms using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), and Rancher.
  • Deploy and manage Helm packages for Kubernetes cluster configurations.
