Title: Security System Engineer (Van Included) Salary: 33,000 - 39,000 DOE Location: East Birmingham (Travel inside the Midlands region) We are seeking a skilled, proactive, and detail-oriented Security Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities - Install, configure, and maintain a range of security systems, including CCTV, access control systems, and intrusion detection systems.
- Conduct thorough diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve both hardware and software issues promptly.
- Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to end-users, ensuring they understand and can effectively operate the security systems.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver customized security solutions that meet specific needs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements to recommend and implement system upgrades or new technologies when necessary.
- Document system installations, configurations, and maintenance tasks for future reference and compliance purposes.
Required Skills and Qualifications - Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control systems, and intrusion detection technologies.
- Hands-On Ability: Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for installation, maintenance, and repairs.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A methodical approach to diagnosing and resolving technical issues, with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and contribute to a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to install and support advanced security systems.

Compensation - Pay Range: 33,000.00 - 39,000.00 per year depending on experience
