Are you looking for a new exciting opportunity working as an Onsite Support Engineer for a successful Managed Service Provider to be based in London?

This role will involve a rotation between working Onsite in the West End and on the Service Desk (1 in 4 weeks) which can be done remotely.

Main Duties of the Role

  • Responsible for troubleshooting, fault finding, fixing, and providing customer advice on systems
  • Managing assigned tickets using the ticket management system
  • Providing support within agreed SLAs to ensure response and fix times are met
  • Remote desktop/server support with windows environments
  • Investigation of server and platform monitoring alerts
  • Server and desktop patching via centrally managed systems
  • Keeping customer documentation up to date
  • Involvement in technical projects for technology deployments/upgrades

Your Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong networking knowledge with proficiency in troubleshooting networking protocols
  • Solid experience of server support and virtual environments (VMware)
  • Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365.
  • Knowledge of backup solutions
  • Understanding of ITIL practices

Salary

  • 35,000- 40,000 per annum
  • + Overtime & on call
