Job Title: Cyber Security Analyst (3-Month Contract)

Rate: Up to 350 per day inside of IR35

About Us: Our client is seeking two skilled Cyber Security Analysts to join their team on an initial 3-month contract. This role is crucial in implementing a comprehensive cyber security strategy using the Microsoft toolset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust cyber security strategy integrating Microsoft security tools and services.
• Manage and oversee security controls using Azure Security Centre, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Provide expert advice on cyber security matters to stakeholders, ensuring security is embedded in all business processes.
• Manage third-party risks and promote a security-first approach to supplier onboarding.
• Foster a cyber security culture within the organisation, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.
• Influence suppliers and partners to adopt secure practices and technologies.
• Support product teams in making informed security decisions.
• Stay updated with the latest laws, best practices, and emerging trends in cyber security.
• Represent the organisation in external consortiums and networks.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency with Microsoft security tools and services, including Azure Security Centre, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience in configuring security toolsets on endpoints, servers, and network devices.
• Knowledge of security standards and regulations such as ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials.
• Strong influence on technology strategy, design patterns, policies, and behavior.
• Innovative mindset with the ability to bring modern thinking to the organisation.
• Experience in handling current and emerging threats and countermeasures.
