ETL developer

We are currently working with a global financial client in the recruitment of an ETL developer to join their markets business with the view to enhancing their risk and control functions in order to meet regulatory expectations and ensure a robust global control environment.
The responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing digital solutions to enhance Mkts Controls & Regs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to reduce manual processes.
• Use data modelling and business knowledge to interface with development teams.
• Perform ETL transformations and data analysis.
• Maintain and manage reporting, analytics, and BI solutions.
• Ensure high data quality through unit testing.
• Review and improve data sources and integrate new systems.
• Automate the production of management reports.

To be considered for this role you will be required to have the following skills/experience:

• At least 3 years operating as an ETL developer
• Proficiency in Python and ETL tools like Tableau Prep.
• Experience in data handling, cleansing, and exception management.
• Advantageous: Experience with relational/non-relational databases, dashboarding, and reporting tools.
• Preferred: Financial services risk management and management consulting experience.

The role is initially for a 6-month period and there is a possibility of extension depending on the clients an needs. This role will be based in Belfast and will require the resource to attend the Belfast office 3 days p/w.
