WHATS THE ROLE?

As a Platform Systems Administrator, you ll join a dynamic platform team responsible for managing the core systems that power our business. These platforms are integral to every part of Zenith from finance, pricing, and customer service to fleet management and more. Our modern environment primarily operates on Windows Servers running Windows Operating Systems, with our application servers running on Linux, and Microsoft Azure as our cloud platform.

You ll play a key role in ensuring these systems are resilient, secure, and scalable, working closely with development teams, third-party suppliers, and stakeholders across the business to support projects migrating our products to our core platform. You ll also benefit from hands-on mentoring, and gain exposure to the latest technologies in an environment that values flexibility, agility, and fresh ideas.

Responsibilities include:

• Oversee live and non-production environments
• Diagnose and resolve application issues, providing support to all departments
• Assist in planning and installing patches and updates, preparing for smooth deployments
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the platform supports their goals
• Engage in proactive monitoring and maintenance of the platforms
• Document procedures and keep track of the production and non-production environments

WHAT YOU CAN OFFER

You will have strong technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Windows Servers and Operating Systems, knowledge of writing and running SQL queries, and some basic administration and troubleshooting experience with MS SQL Server, strong technical knowledge of Linux commands, and ideally some exposure to JBoss open-source application server.
