IT Security & Governance Analyst

IT Security & Governanace Analyst to join a dynamic IT team paying up to 45k based near Chester. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the company's security posture by focusing on governance, risk, and compliance. There is an element of Hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
• Monitor security incidents and respond effectively
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are followed
• Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and trends
• Assist in the implementation and management of security tools and technologies

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices
• Expertise in Cyber Essentials
• Experience in ITGC (IT General Controls)
• Knowledge of ITIL and other IT processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
