Job Opportunity: IT Support Engineer (Onsite, 3-Month Contract)

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with at least 5 years of experience and a background in VIP support to join our client's team in London. This is an onsite role for an initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension.

Key Details:

  • Location: Onsite, Central London.
  • Shifts: Rotational: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in French is advantageous
  • Rate: £200 per day - Inside IR35, Umbrella contractors only

Key Skills and Knowledge Required:

  • Experience in a Service Desk environment, supporting users remotely and managing tickets via an Incident Management tool.
  • Strong expertise in supporting the full Microsoft Office Suite on Windows platforms.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems (recent support experience with Windows 7 and 10).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (desktop and admin support).
  • Experience with Azure administration and support.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills, with a professional and well-presented demeanour.
  • A strong focus on service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to troubleshooting and tasks.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in 1st to 3rd Line Support.
  • VIP support experience is essential.
  • Experience with Azure is required.
  • Prior experience in a financial institution is desirable but not mandatory.
