Software Engineer - Ruby on Rails

E & M Talent Partners are supporting our client who are a key player in Education Technology throughout the UK and Europe.

What started as family run business, they are now backed by a global organisation based out of Texas and have grown into a leading organisation within their respective field.

Due to growth they are looking to appoint a Software Engineer to join their remote UK based Development team.

To be successful in the role you will need to have had several years experience in a product driven, agile enviroment. An excellent track record in delivering quality products.

Knowledge of Ruby, and Ruby on Rails is essential and you must be open to getting stuck in to the frontend.

Experience:

- 3 years experience with Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails

- HTML, SCSS and JavaScript

- Analytical problem solver

- Strong communicator

- Bonus points if you have woked with JS frameworks such as VueJS

The tech stack:

- Ruby on Rails

- VueJS 3

- Modern Javascript (>ES6) & Typescript

- MySQL

- Azure
