We're currently seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join my clients dynamic software development team. In this role, you'll play a crucial and key role in shaping the clients industry leading products and solutions. Your expertise in PHP, Laravel, next.js, and react will be essential in contributing

Your role will entail:

Designing and building web applications with Next.js and associated technologies, such as React, HTML, CSS, Tailwind CSS, and TypeScript

Creating APIs within the Laravel framework, following Test Driven Development (TDD) methodologies

Writing clean, maintainable, and well-organized code that meets industry standards and best practices for both Next.js and Laravel

Enhancing web application performance and ensuring compatibility and responsiveness across multiple platforms and devices

Keeping up with the latest features and improvements in Next.js and Laravel to identify enhancements for current applications or opportunities for new developments

Working closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and product managers, to gather and clarify requirements and align them with overall business objectives

Developing and updating technical documentation, such as design documents, user manuals, and API specifications, to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical team members

Applying security best practices when developing and managing WordPress themes and plugins

We're seeking candidates who possess:

Essential:

• Extensive experience in PHP web development
• Skilled in the Laravel framework with a solid command of its tools and features
• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns
• Competent in building RESTful APIs using Laravel
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing practices within Laravel applications
• Knowledgeable about Laravel's security features and best practices in web security
• Demonstrated experience developing web applications using Next.js and React
• Proficient in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
• Well-versed in web development standards, including responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimisation
• Experienced with version control systems, especially Git
• Solid understanding of agile software development practices and methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a creative approach to developing innovative web solutions
• Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
