Senior Infrastructure Engineer

An opportunity has become available to join a financial organisation based in Birmingham. This organisation is looking for someone that shows an aptitude to learning new skills, shows a keen interest in technology and is looking to excel in this role.

Key skills and experience:

• Financial experience is desirable
• Active Directory and Group Policy
• A clear understanding of cloud technologies and offerings from Azure
• Citrix Xenapp 6.5
• Programming/scripting experience (PowerShell)
• Experience with server virtualisation, Backup, Storage, Desktop, Network
• Understanding of network routing, switching and load balancing technologies
• Delivering infrastructure projects based on IT strategy
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong 365 knowledge
• Designing, implementing and supporting Cloud and hybrid workloads
• Managing Firewalls with external partners
