SAP ABAP Developer / SAP ABAP Consultant

SAP ABAP Developers are required for multiple positions who have worked on SAP ABAP Development projects for an established SAP practice with several SAP S4 HANA projects across sectors spanning CPG, Manufacturing, Utilities, defence and other sectors.

The SAP ABAP Developer will join an established SAP technical Team and work as part of a broad team of Technical specialists delivering the latest SAP solutions and innovations to a wide and varied set of clients, across many different industry sectors.

This is a role with a UK SAP Practice for a major Global System Integrator. As such the SAP ABAP Developer will Deliver development services and understand and practice value-based fit to standard delivery approach

The SAP ABAP Developer are expected to have the following skills and experience

• SAP ABAP Programming, preferably Object Oriented.
• Experience of development objects, for example Function Modules, Data dictionary objects, Dialogue Programming, BADI, BAPI, User-Exits, Web Services Gateway OData Services, CDS Views, ABAP for HANA, FRICE (Smart forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements).
• Strong customer focus with good client facing consulting capability as roles are working collaboratively with Clients.
• Playing an active part in Process Improvement, ensuring compliance with all relevant quality processes and procedures, including completion of all the specified quality records

There is a hybrid working model with good WFH opportunities, however the SAP ABAP Developer should be flexible and UK mobile to go to client projects, but this is expected to be limited travel requirements. The SAP ABAP Developer can live anywhere in the UK.

Please note, the salary successful candidates are offered at the end of the process will be depending on the assessment during the interview process.

Additionally, the SAP ABAP Developer must have a UK/British passport due to Security Clearance requirements and not have travelled outside the UK for over 28 consecutive days during the past 5 years period. Our clients you will be required to provide documentary proof, prior to joining the Company that you are entitled to live and work in the UK.
