About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SC-cleared Test Manager to lead the testing strategy and execution across complex, data-driven projects. As part of an Agile team, you will play a critical role in embedding quality at every stage of the development lifecycle, with a strong focus on data pipeline solutions, automation frameworks, and non-functional testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Agile teams to embed quality and testing best practices into processes and workflows.
  • Define, document, and agree on robust test strategies for new and ongoing projects.
  • Lead project planning activities, estimating time, resources, and testing requirements for complex initiatives.
  • Oversee and execute testing of data pipeline solutions, emphasising data quality, integrity, and deterministic testing.
  • Develop and maintain advanced test automation tools and frameworks, ensuring streamlined and reliable testing.
  • Manage interactions with AWS native services from a test automation perspective to ensure optimal integration.
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to identify and resolve structural data defects.
  • Lead non-functional testing efforts, including performance, load, and security testing.

Must-Have Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Test Manager or in a similar role, working within Agile teams and embedding quality into processes.
  • Expertise in designing and agreeing on test strategies for new projects.
  • Strong project planning skills, with a track record of estimating and managing time and resources effectively.
  • Significant experience testing data pipeline solutions, focusing on data quality and deterministic outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with scripted/coded test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Proficiency with AWS services, particularly in test automation and integration contexts.
  • Advanced data analysis skills for diagnosing and resolving structural data defects.
  • Extensive experience with non-functional testing, including performance, load, and security testing.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • AWS Fundamentals-level certification.
  • Experience designing and implementing test automation pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
  • Proficiency with command-line/scripting, especially Linux file-handling commands.

Our Selection Process:
