IAM Senior Engineer / Architect

We looking for an IAM specialist to join a large programme. With a strong focus on security, resilience, and automation, we are seeking an IAM Tech Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in enhancing our Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities within a highly regulated and globally scaled environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation & Integration:

  • Automate application build, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Integrate environment tools and applications, including Active Directory, SMTP, SIEM, and ITSM platforms.

• Script Development:

  • Design and develop Ansible Playbooks and PowerShell scripts from scratch based on technical requirements.

• Configuration Management:

  • Utilize GitHub for configuration, build management, and version control.
  • Work with REST APIs for integration and automation tasks.

• Systems Engineering:

  • Provide hands-on engineering expertise for Windows Operating Systems and related infrastructures.
  • Offer advanced troubleshooting and problem-resolution support for Windows environments.

• Global Operations:

  • Contribute to operations within a global, highly regulated banking environment.
  • Ensure adherence to strict security and resilience standards while driving automation initiatives.

• Team Collaboration & Leadership:

  • Act as a positive, collaborative team member within a large-scale programme.
  • Demonstrate accountability for deliverables, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Support knowledge-sharing initiatives across teams and mentor junior members when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in automation of application builds and integrations with platforms like Active Directory, SMTP, SIEM, and ITSM.
  • Skilled in Scripting with Ansible and PowerShell, capable of building solutions from scratch.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub and REST APIs for configuration and integrations.

• Windows Knowledge:

  • In-depth experience with Windows Operating Systems and supporting large-scale infrastructures.
  • Advanced troubleshooting capabilities and knowledge of system resilience.

• Programming & Scripting:

  • Proven experience with at least one Scripting language (eg, PowerShell, Python, Bash).

• Global Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a highly regulated, global-scale organization, with a focus on automation, security, and resilience.

• Soft Skills:

  • Self-motivated, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • A positive team player who thrives in a fast-paced, large-scale programme environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience with emerging IAM technologies and methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards in the banking sector.
