What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
You and your role
As an Associate Application Engineer, you will be integral to the development of applications and the conversion of legacy systems into low-code/power apps using Microsoft's Power Platform and Power Automate systems, contributing to the design. You will be a part of the larger development team and community, helping to champion best practices and adding your experience to the wider development discussion, whilst being supported in your continued learning and professional development.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Blackpool or Manchester, whichever is most convenient for you.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of up to 38,373.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%, worth up to 11,089 per year.
Holidays: A generous leave package starting at 24 days and rising to 26 days after one year.
You can also take up to 3 extra days off a month on flexi-time. You'll also get all the usual public holidays.
