The Role

As an ICT Application Support Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting our IT applications, ensuring that our systems run smoothly and efficiently. You will work with a variety of platforms, including Office 365, Microsoft Power Platform, CRM systems, and cloud-based solutions, contributing to both day-to-day operations and larger projects. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and third-party suppliers, as well as overseeing the deployment and support of applications and cloud-based services.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Office 365 and Power Platform: Utilise Office 365 and Microsoft Power Platform tools to automate internal processes and tasks, improving efficiency across the organisation.
  • CRM Support: Provide comprehensive support and maintenance for our CRM systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet business needs.
  • Service Desk Management: Work with ICT helpdesk/service desk systems to resolve user issues and provide high-quality support.
  • Unified Communications & Cloud Telephony: Support and maintain Unified Communications (Teams) and cloud-based telephony systems.
  • Server & Networking Support: Provide technical support for servers, networking, and mobile device management (iOS)
  • Cloud Applications: Maintain and support SaaS (Cloud-based) applications, ensuring their availability and functionality.
  • GDPR Governance: Ensure compliance with UK GDPR, safeguarding data and supporting related processes.
  • Data Migration: Oversee and support data migrations from on-premises to cloud environments.
  • SharePoint Administration: Manage SharePoint sites, including site building, maintenance, and integration with other Microsoft products and third-party applications.
  • Board Management Systems: Support and maintain board management systems to ensure seamless access and usage.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Experienced Professional: Significant experience in a similar role, with expertise in Office 365, Microsoft Power Platform, CRM systems, and service desk systems.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience in Unified Communications, mobile device management, server and network support, cloud telephony, and application deployment.
  • Customer-Focused: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
  • Team Player: Able to work and collaborate effectively within a team environment while also managing your own workload and taking the initiative.
  • Strong Communicator: Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with users, colleagues, and third-party suppliers.
  • Organised & Methodical: A methodical approach to problem-solving, with strong organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing projects and leading meetings with customers and suppliers.

Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • ICT Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IT systems, cloud-based applications, mobile device management, and GDPR governance.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms and learn new technologies quickly.
  • ICT Qualifications: Further education in ICT or equivalent qualification.
  • Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required.
