About the Role:

Verus Recruitment is partnering with a rapidly growing Insurtech start-up, dedicated to revolutionizing the insurance sector through AI-powered data solutions and advanced digital technologies. We are looking for a talented Full Stack Engineer to join this innovative company and take a leading role in developing a Data Ingestion product tailored for the Insurance Market. The ideal candidate will have expertise in React, Python, and/or Node.js, with a strong background in Desktop Applications and frameworks.

Role Overview:

Verus is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain a scalable platform that leverages data ingestion and AI to provide game-changing solutions in the insurance industry. Working alongside the founding team, you will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, helping to shape the architecture of a key product.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain middleware services to integrate the front end with back-end APIs using React, Python, and/or Node.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative product features.
  • Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness across multiple platforms.
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and middleware solutions.
  • Contribute to DevOps processes, including the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery.
  • Work on data-driven features, applying AI and automation to enhance the system continuously.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to maintain high standards and best practices.
Requirements:
  • 8 years or more of proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer in a start-up or agile environment.
  • Strong skills in React, Python, and/or Node.js, with familiarity in CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of data platforms and AI-driven solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality solutions.
  • A passion for technology, with a drive to continually learn and build scalable, high-performance applications.
  • Experience working across diverse environments and teams is advantageous.
