Company: Leading Refurbishment Construction Company

Office-based in Birmingham City Centre, with travel across the UK (no overnight stays)
I am working with a main contractor that specialises in refurbishing care homes, public buildings, colleges, and student accommodation amongst others. Our projects range from £300k to £4 million, with plans to expand to £10 million in the next five years. They are committed to delivering high-quality refurbishments that enhance the functionality and aesthetics of various industrial units across the country.
Role Overview: They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of their business over the next five years. The successful candidate will manage multiple refurbishment projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage refurbishment projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Travel to various project sites across the UK (no overnight stays required).
  • Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and ensure adherence to timelines.
  • Implement and maintain project management processes and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of refurbishment projects, particularly in care homes, public buildings, colleges, and student accommodation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel across the UK as required.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
