Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Looking to get into Generative AI within a multi-cloud environment? We re helping a Cardiff based company scale up with a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

About the company:

• They have a mainly remote set up; more of an as and when approach to being in the Cardiff office, which is usually one day per quarter for socials.
• Personality fit is as important as technical capabilities, which means the culture is relaxed with no drama or egos.
• They offer a structured road map in terms of progression, and they provide a budget for learning and development.

About the role:

• You will be joining a small team of 3-4 with in a wider team of 50-55, where they have a collaborative and supportive approach.
• 3rd line support is the backbone of this role, so you ll need a minimum of 3-4 years experience of this along with Microsoft 365.
• They have an on-call rota/bonus you can opt into, but there is no obligation.
• As they have a multi-cloud environment, we re looking for someone with solid AWS experience. Additional experience with Azure of GCP is a bonus.
• They have some really interesting projects coming up as they have investment in Generative AI, so you ll be working with Bedrock as well as improving AI features and automating services.

Essential criteria:

• Microsoft 365
• Proficiency with AWS
• 3-4 years+ experience within 3rd line support
• Able to commute to the Cardiff office for strategy meetings etc.
