We are currently seeking a Senior SISS Design Engineer for a major rail infrastructure project in West London.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing Station Information and Surveillance Systems (SISS) including CCTV, Public Address (PA) systems, Customer Information Systems (CIS), Access Control, and Network configurations.
Contributing to both GRIP 5 and some GRIP 4 design stages.
Ensuring all designs meet the required standards and specifications for rail communications.
Collaborating with project teams to integrate designs seamlessly into the existing infrastructure.
Providing technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintaining and updating design documentation as required.
Participating in design reviews and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in SISS design within the rail communications sector.
A comprehensive understanding of GRIP 4 and GRIP 5 design processes.
Proficiency in designing and implementing CCTV, PA systems, CIS, Access Control, and Network configurations.
Strong technical skills in telecoms and SISS design engineering.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to work effectively within a project team.
Exceptional communication skills for collaboration and reporting.
Relevant engineering qualifications or equivalent experience in the rail communications field.
