Description:

Front End Developer required to work for one of the UK and Europe's No1 Cloud-based Telematic providers. The project is a multiple award winning IOT, high throughout / big data insurance telematics & video solution.

Role
We are seeking a Front-End Developer with UI/UX design expertise to join am agile team of eight. The ideal candidate will have the ability to transform product requirements into high-quality designs and then seamlessly implement them into functional, user-friendly interfaces. You will play a key role in bridging the gap between design and development, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive user experience.

Working Environment
The company work in an Agile / DevOps environment and are continuously trying to improve their processes. They are looking for someone who can fit into this environment so a working knowledge / interest in Agile / Devops working practices, including SCRUM, Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery. Ideally looking for someone who can follow and promote best practices in these areas.

Essential Skills

  • ReactJs
  • Javascript
  • Front end development pipeline tech such as NPM, Bower, webpack
  • HTML5 and CSS
  • UI/UX prototyping tools such as Figma

Non Essential Skills (possibility to learn on the job)

  • TypeScript
  • Redux
  • Jest
  • ESLint
  • Git, including GitFlow & Pull Requests / Peer Reviews
  • Restful API development

Perks of the Role

  • Fantastic salary £50,000-£60,000 Experience Dependent
  • Working Hours are Monday-Friday 9 am- 5 pm
