Description:

A great opportunity for an experienced IT Engineer to join a large manufacturing organisation in Cheshire. Tasked with providing 1st-3rd line support to users across the business, as well as taking the lead on infrastructure improvements, implementations and upgrades!
Your new role:

  • Providing 1st-3rd line support
  • Install, configure and maintain hardware and software
  • Server, network, and system support - ensuring optimal functionality
  • Monitor firewalls, antivirus and uphold data standards
  • End user support - accounts, permissions, passwords
  • Project work - upgrades and new technology implementations
  • Vendor management- procurement, repairs, service agreements
  • Make recommendations for new solutions
  • Disaster recovery and business continuity


Experience required to succeed:

  • Minimum 3 years working in an IT Engineer role
  • Experience providing 1st-3rd line support
  • Successfully executed upgrade and implementation projects
  • Windows server, Active Directory, O 365, and MDM
  • Cisco networking and firewalls
  • Strong communication skills
  • A passion for tech and good knowledge of new solutions
