Project Manager with experience of working on Network Rail projects required for initial 6 month contract in London.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio or civil engineering and asset management projects being run from Central London. Hybrid working is offered but candidates must be prepared to work 3 days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Be accountable for the delivery of new examination contract requirements to time, cost, and quality, adhering to Network Rail company standards, legislation, and procedures.
Work closely with the Commercial team to develop a robust plan ensuring new contracts are in place and suppliers mobilised smoothly.
Identify and monitor project risks, plan and implement mitigations, and respond to issues affecting the project.
Engage and lead stakeholder relationships, considering their influence and interests.
Establish and maintain governance arrangements for project delivery, defining clear roles and responsibilities.
Manage project reviews throughout the lifecycle, providing evaluations of progress, performance, risk, and relevance.
Establish and implement protocols to change project scopes and update configuration documents as required.
Ensure lessons learned reports and project completion reports are progressed within the portfolio.
Job Requirements:
Experience in project management within the rail sector.
Ability to develop and implement strategies with commercial and tender requirements.
Strong risk management and mitigation planning skills.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities.
Proficiency in maintaining governance arrangements and project reviews.
Competency in managing changes to project scopes and documentation.
Capability to compile and progress lessons learned and project completion reports.
