Telecoms Billing Team Manager

Our client, an award-winning telecoms company are seeking an experienced Telecom Billing Team Manager, you will lead the Telecom and Mobile Billing Operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You ll manage a dynamic team of six, comprising three billing specialists and three administrative support staff. Your primary tool will be the aBillity billing platform. Key Responsibilities

1. Billing Operations Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end Telecom billing process using aBillity.
• Ensure timely and accurate invoice generation for all services.
• Maintain data in the billing system tailored to business needs.
• Monitor customer usage and alerting procedures.
• Manage CDR imports for all billing suppliers.

2. Team Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of 6 billing specialists.
• Provide training on billing processes and the aBillity platform.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
• Collaborate with Finance and Credit Control to streamline processes.

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyse billing data to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for management and stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly reports and enhance reporting methodologies.
• Produce dealer and staff commissions reports.

3. Customer Support:

• Address and resolve customer billing inquiries promptly.
• Collaborate with sales and support teams for a seamless billing experience.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication.
• Liaise with Credit Control to address outstanding issues.

4. Compliance and Audit:

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Implement billing controls to prevent errors and fraud.
• Review existing processes to standardize, simplify, and automate.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Telecoms/telecommunications industry experience essential
• Team management experience within billing essential
• Knowledge of aBillity billing system is desirable.
• Able to get to Stamford Hill on a daily basis

Compensation:

• Salary: £45,000 - £55,000
