Systems Developer
Lincoln, Full-Time, Permanent
Salary £40,000 per annum

Our Lincoln-based Client is looking to appoint a Systems Developer on a full-time, permanent basis.

THE ROLE

Your duties as Systems Developer will include:

  • Producing in-house applications and databases to support the company needs
  • De-bugging and resolving coding issues
  • Identifying development works, producing project proposals to include timescales and contingencies
  • Eliminating down-time for all mission critical and back-office systems
  • Implementing new solutions into existing code
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Providing occasional cover for the IT helpdesk support
  • Ad hoc IT and maintenance related tasks

THE CANDIDATE

The successful Systems Developer will possess the following:

  • Extensive experience working with PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS
  • Experience using JavaScript, JQuery
  • Experience with E-commerce websites and developing website solutions
  • An understanding of MVC frameworks
  • Experience with API s, such as eBay, AWS and S3
  • Version control, preferably GIT
  • Great communication skills and a positive attitude
  • The ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
