Java Fullstack Developer

Avanti Recruitment is currently working with a global financial trading company who are currently looking to hire a Mid-Level Java Developer due to growth within the company. The office is in South London with good transport links. The company works in a hybrid fashion so would like people in the office 2 days per week.

On a day-to-day basis, you will find yourself working across the full software development life cycle including design/architecture. You will be involved in working on Greenfield projects as well as system enhancements, maintenance, and integration. You will take ownership of individual elements of development and will be involved with code reviews.

The company is keen on helping develop their team's skillsets and they are happy to help with accreditations/certifications. The company is keeping up with the latest technologies and is always looking to implement new tech as it progresses. They are also working with the latest AWS tech including Lambdas , Aurora, Cognito, EC2 etc.

You will be working closely with the product development team as well as the trading colleagues and other developers on a day-to-day basis to ensure you are delivering excellent service to the company's clients.

Must have experience:

• Strong Java experience
• 2:1 Degree or above (Ideally in computer science)
• Understanding of TDD / Creating Unit Tests
• Experience with HTML/CSS
• Understanding and usage of CI/CD such as Jenkins

Highly desirable:

• React experience
• AWS / GCP or Azure
• Docker/Kubernetes

The salary on off for this role is up to 65,000 + Bonus + 27 days holiday (Plus bank holiday).
