TfGM are seeking an AWS Senior Infrastructure Engineer with a background in Digital Operations/Systems to help transform TfGM s infrastructure to a Modern Infrastructure and Modern Datacentre to be proud of. This is a busy and exciting time for us: under the devolution agreement and with Greater Manchester at the heart of the Northern Powerhouse, transport will play a vital role in supporting growth and prosperity in the UK s largest regional economy outside London. To achieve this, we have ambitious plans to establish a fully integrated, high capacity transport system across Greater Manchester becoming a digital transport operator keeping the city, region moving and growing, helping people in Greater Manchester make over 6 million journeys a day. Your Role As our Infrastructure Engineer at TfGM you will be responsible for continuously improving the infrastructure, deploying and managing environments, help engineers work more efficiently and improve the tools that TfGM already deploys. In this role you will help resolve issues that occur and be proactive in supporting teams and find innovative solutions. You will also be involved in contributing your ideas to platform architecture and design to drive continuous improvement. What are we looking for? What we can offer you A permanent with a salary of £62,811 - £69,888 per annum, depending on skills and experience. (Salary is made up of a basic salary of £56,361 - £63,438 plus a market factor supplement of £6,450 with is paid monthly and reviewed annually). Our benefits include:
