Description: | Software Engineer in Test Salary Circa 45,000 (DOE) +Benefits Bristol (Hybrid Working) CPS are proud to partner with a global leader in the interactive entrainment industry who have a fantastic new opportunity for a Software Engineer in Test to join the team. In this role you will be joining the team responsible for the tools, test and infrastructure that ensure the quality of the software toolchain. You will be helping to design and implement new tools and techniques to guarantee the overall quality of the products. Thanks to the advanced continuous testing this organisation has a brilliant track record of identifying bugs in the open-source project very quickly. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is looking to accelerate their career development through receiving coaching and mentoring from experts already in the team who have a wealth of industry experience. Key Responsibilities: Contributing to the development of internal testing tools and frameworks Maintaining test jobs on the Jenkins CI system to ensure smooth execution and discovering new opportunities to improve test performance Analysing automated tests results to identify trends, issues or areas for improvement Participating in code/documentation reviews and offering feedback Candidate Skills/Experience: Understanding of software testing techniques Ability to write and maintain unit and systems tests for software applications.
