I am working with a leading member-owned insurance organisation who are on an exciting path of growth and development. As part of this, they are looking to bring on a Lead/Senior Developer who will take a key role in their engineering function, being a 'Practice Lead'.

As the Development Team Lead/Development Practice Lead, your day-to-day will be:

  • Still a significant amount of hands-on coding in a tech stack including C# .Net, Microsoft Azure, and Azure DevOps
  • You'll work in a cross-functional Product team, working in an Agile way
  • You'll manage a small number of less senior developers
  • The organisation are looking to create a 'Development Practice' to ensure consistent excellence in software development across the whole team- you'd be a lead in this.

Experience in the following would be beneficial for this Software Development Practice Lead role:

  • Strong expertise in .Net framework, C#, and Microsoft Azure technologies.
  • Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools and practices, such as Azure DevOps.
  • Experience leading/managing a small team, and being a leader in software development in your organisation
