Knight Frank is looking to hire a Data Domain Architect to design and implement data architecture solutions to support our strategic goals.

Role:

The Data Domain Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing data architecture solutions that support the strategic goals of Knight Frank. Your ability to collaborate, communicate, and think strategically will be equally critical.

Responsibilities:
  1. Data Architecture Design: Develop and maintain the overall data architecture, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.
  2. Data Lineage: Implement and maintain data lineage processes to track the flow of data through the Knight Frank business processes & systems, ensuring transparency and traceability.
  3. Data Modeling: Create and manage data models, including conceptual, logical, and physical models.
  4. Data Integration: Work with solution architects to design and implement data integrations enabling seamless data flow across the Knight Frank data estate.
  5. Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance.
  6. Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend data management technologies and tools to enhance the data architecture.
  7. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, models, and processes.
Key Experience Required:
  1. 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data modelling, and data integration.
  2. Proficiency in data modelling tools (e.g. Toad Data Modeler, ERwin), database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, SnowFlake), and exposure to data integration tools (e.g. Boomi, Informatica, MuleSoft).
  3. Strong understanding of data governance & lineage, data quality, and data security principles.
  4. Experience of cloud data platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) and SaaS (preferred).
  5. Certification in data architecture or related fields (e.g. CDMP, TOGAF) (preferred).
