Description:

We are a manufacturing company in Milton Keynes, who craft flexible fuel tanks for many industries. This includes motorsport, automotive, marine, aerospace, defence and aviation, to name a few! We are the leading manufacturer in our field and exclusively supply all of the teams on the Formula 1 grid.

We work with some world-famous brands and craft a safety product, meaning quality is of the utmost importance to us.

The Job

You will be able to work efficiently and effectively within the Design Department managing multiple projects and prioritising workloads. You'll take concepts and realise these into manufactured solutions and be able to convert customer requirements into high-quality manufacturing documentation with the use of CAD, PLM and MRP software.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting designs and systems throughout the departmental lifecycle to ensure customer's requirements are met and follow department standards
  • Produce high-quality templates for Cell Manufacture, with accurate models, digital representations, drawings and information
  • Creation of fit check card models to ensure accuracy of design and understanding of fuel cell construction
  • Develop job knowledge and continually progress your engineering capabilities
  • To provide support to other members of the design team to achieve project deliverables

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is able to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Has one year of relevant professional or academic experience
  • Can extract information from data sheets
  • Is able to read Engineering drawings
  • Experience with ERP and PLM systems

  • 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
