Description: | Senior Interaction Designer Salary: £43,116 per annum Hours: Full time Contract Type: Fixed Term (Concluding Dec 2029) Location: Bristol (Hybrid) Closing Date: 25 Sep 24 About the Research Excellence Framework (REF) The REF (ref.ac.uk) is the system for assessing the quality of research in UK higher education institutions, with the most recent exercise concluding in 2021. It is a peer review assessment process involving submissions from higher education institutions across the UK. Research England delivered REF 2021 on behalf of the four UK funding bodies and the results have driven the annual distribution of approximately £2 billion of research funding to UK universities. Purpose of the role As a senior interaction designer, you will work within your digital services team to plan, design and participate in research activities with users that help teams gain a deep understanding of the people that use REF services. You will use the information from users of the system, from previous REF exercise to prototype the service to aid research and development. Person Specification
