| Description: | C++ Python Software Engineer We are looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer to join a Research Software team in Cambridge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing high-quality software in various programming languages, contributing to compiler and algorithm development, and conducting original research. The perfect candidate should have programming experience, preferably in Python, C++. They should also be willing to learn new programming languages and be able to work independently and translate new ideas into code. A background that includes a PhD in Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science would be ideal due to the research nature of this role. Desirable skills include published research in AI, ML, HPC, or quantum computing and experience in commercial software development. Any experience in RUST could also be useful.
